7. Request Procedure
To request access to any of the above records, you must submit a written request using the prescribed Form C (available at www.sahrc.org.za). Requests must be sent to the Information Officer via email or post.
Request must include:
Full name and contact details of the requester
Description of the record requested
The right the requester is seeking to protect
Proof of identity (e.g., ID or business registration)
8. Grounds for Refusal of Access
Access to records may be refused if:
It would violate the privacy of a third party
It contains confidential commercial information
It is legally privileged
Disclosure is prohibited by law
9. Fees
A request fee and access fee may be charged as prescribed by PAIA regulations. These fees will be communicated upon receipt of the request.
